An offer is not an agreement
Submitting an item does not require either party to complete a trade. A trade becomes binding only after the parties agree to the specific item, condition, delivery method and other applicable terms.
You must own what you offer
You confirm that you are an adult authorized to offer the item, that you have described it honestly and that it is not stolen, counterfeit, illegally obtained or subject to an undisclosed lien or ownership claim.
Items we may reject
We may reject any offer for any lawful reason, including safety, legality, condition, authenticity, shipping difficulty, geographic limits, weak demand or poor next-trade potential. Do not offer prohibited, dangerous or regulated items.
Values are estimates
Market values and AI-assisted evaluations are good-faith estimates, not appraisals or guarantees. Barter values can differ from retail prices, asking prices and recent sales.
Inspection and logistics
Before accepting a trade, either party may request reasonable verification, photographs, inspection or proof of ownership. Shipping, transportation, insurance and transfer arrangements must be agreed upon before exchange.
Publicity permission
If you grant permission, we may feature the offered item and submitted story in project updates. Private contact information will not intentionally be published. Permission to feature an offer does not guarantee that it will be featured or accepted.
No promise of the outcome
The five-acre target is the project’s genuine goal, not a guaranteed result or investment opportunity. Participants receive only the item agreed upon in their individual trade and no ownership interest in the project or future property.
These terms are practical ground rules for submissions and do not replace a written agreement, bill of sale, title transfer or professional advice when a particular trade requires one.
